Leslie Habetler is a public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in media relations and crisis communication in the United States and Germany.

She has been recognized for her outstanding management of crisis information for many incidents, including the Loma Prieta earthquake in California, forest fires, domestic terrorist activities, illegal occupation of Forest Service lands, a U.S. Army fuel tanker explosion and fire in Germany, an injury fire at an adhesives manufacturing plant in Louisiana and firefighter fatalities in Colorado and eastern Oregon.
